From Concept To Design
Ask Scarlet Kiosk
More Than A Map
Scarlet will be voice activated and able to answer questions.
Able to accommodate foreign speaking students and visitors to campus.
The Kiosk will be designed to display closed caption for the hearing impaired and able to speak directions for when a person is blind.
You can get directions right on the Kiosk but will also be able to scan a QR code that will show the directions right on your phone.
SCAN YOUR ID
When a student scans their ID, they can see their whole schedule plus suggestions on the quickest route to class.
Parking on the Rutger’s campus can be confusing. The Kioski will help those who park in and around the campus know if they are in a legal space.
The Kiosk will be fitted with a camera which will allow the Campus Police to observe the surrounding area. Also, if someone is in a dangerous situation they can contact the campus police via the Kiosk.
OTHER MENU ITEMS
This Kiosk will do more than giving directions. Provide campus alerts as well as get information on campus events, places to eat, find out where the library is and so much more.
